How to install Talktalk on Mac
This page covers installation only: downloading the DMG, dragging it into Applications, and what to do if macOS shows a security prompt on first launch.
Download the DMG and open it.
Get the latest installer from the Talktalk download page. Open the DMG and you'll see the Talktalk app alongside an Applications folder shortcut.
Drag Talktalk into Applications.
Once copied, always launch Talktalk from Applications — not directly from the DMG window.
On first launch, follow the macOS security prompt.
macOS checks apps downloaded from the internet the first time they run. This is normal. Follow the system prompt to allow Talktalk, then reopen it.
Check your macOS version first, then confirm you downloaded the latest build.
Talktalk requires macOS 14.7 or later on Apple Mac. If it still won't open, send a screenshot of the error and your macOS version to support.
